About Us
Mountain West Foundation (MWF) is a non-profit economic development affiliate of Mountain West Small Business Finance. Many Underserved and Emerging small businesses face significant barriers to success and to capital due to racial, ethnic, educational, cultural factors and/or to their being new, inexperienced, and not yet considered “bankable”.
The MWF Mission is to empower these Underserved and Emerging small businesses to be successful by providing them with the following resources:

1) Small Business Education and Technical Assistance
2) Loans on favorable terms
3) Financial support for Resource Partners who also support Underserved and Emerging Businesses

John Evans is the President and CEO of Mountain West Small Business Finance, a top 10 nationwide CDC. John has served in various lending roles and economic development initiatives.

Executive Director
Danielle Lower is the VP of Community and Economic Development at Mountain West Small Business Finance. She has extensive experience in small business lending, education, and non-profits.
