Mountain West Foundation (MWF) is the non-profit economic development affiliate of Mountain West Small Business Finance. Many underserved and emerging small businesses face significant barriers to capital and success due to racial, ethnic, educational, and cultural factors and/or to their being new, inexperienced, and not yet considered “bankable.”

The MWF mission is to empower these underserved and emerging small businesses to be successful by providing them with the following resources:

• Small business education and technical assistance
• Loans on favorable terms
• Financial support for resource partners who also support underserved and emerging businesses
